Uruguay has an excellent telecommunications infrastructure, with 100% digitized communications and transmissions. It also has a very high rate of telephone, PC, number of host computers and Internet users in Latin America. Nearly the entire country is covered by electricity availability and cell phone coverage. Most of Argentina also is well above South American and world averages. Nearly every block on both sides of the Plata River has a high speed internet café with usage rates generally below $1 an hour.
It just won't be a problem finding the technical and infrastructure support for your filming project.
